Mitchell Contracting, Inc. was co-founded in 2013 by Mitch and Holly Pounds. Mitch earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Mississippi State University. Holly earned a Bachelor’s of Accountancy from Mississippi State University and a Master’s of Accounting from University of Southern Mississippi. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Mitch has 20+ years’ experience in Municipal and Public Works Construction. He was previously a partner at Greenbriar Digging Service, and a project manager with Max Foote Construction. Mitch’s forward thinking vision compelled him to put his extensive experience to work by creating Mitchell Contracting, Inc. Together, Mitch and Holly have grown the company from fewer than 10 employees to its current status of over 70 employees.
Mitchell Contracting, Inc. is currently involved in large scale engineering projects across the gulf coast including, Louisiana, Mississippi, Florida, and Alabama.
